The Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles is the striking result of Porsche Design Group’s reach into the real estate market. One of the most prominent features of this luxury development is the patented, high-tech car lift that enables owners to park their vehicles right inside their units in glass-walled sky garages. Each of the 641-foot building’s 132 residences is clad in floor to ceiling hurricane windows and glass railings.
Building Drops provided Engineering and a full set of Shop Drawings for the Window Wall, Entrance Doors, Casement Windows, Sliding Glass Doors and Railings. We assisted with Steel Frame Engineering to support surrounding windows and doors. Our team also assisted with the Design and Testing of Impact Lift and Slide Doors and Window Wall Systems specific for this project.
