Project
The Milford Regional Medical Center expansion project included a 115,000 square foot, two-story addition that included an emergency department, intensive care unit, and private patient rooms. The expansion doubled the capacity of the hospital’s emergency room. A special feature of the ICU rooms is larger windows to allow for more sunshine, which has been shown to have positive health benefits.
